Similar to the Blood Crystal Wyverns, these variants also deal damage over time but can be considered more offensive in nature and capable of dealing more damage per second. While the ordinary Fire Wyvern deals a fixed amount of damage by fire and upfront, the Ember Crystal Wyvern deals more damage over the consecutive use of its fire breath. 2) Ember Crystal WyvernĮmber Crystal Wyvenrs bear similarities with the Fire Wyverns of the previous maps but their breath of fire has a longer length and narrower area. Its attacks cause enemies to become inflicted with the “Blood Cursed” debuff while adding the “Blood Curse Recovery” buff to itself, making it heal itself while enemy life is drained.Īnother benefit of the Blood Crystal Wyvern is that it can regenerate its health by attacking corpses, thus consuming them for bonus regeneration similar to an Argentavis. One of the rarer types of Crystal Wyverns, the Blood Crystal Wyvern’s element is in fact blood itself, allowing this Wyvern to tap into the life force of its enemies. Crystal Wyvern Variants 1) Blood Crystal Wyvern These variants of Wyverns are slightly different from the ones in the Scorched Earth and Ragnarok ones, as they have different elements and effects.Ī distinguishable trait of Crystal Wyverns is the buildup of crystals on their head added to the basic body of the Wyverns. Narcoberry flowers on cliffs at bloodfalls hallow.Ĭrystals (vanilla) at copper peaks again.Crystal Wyverns are new variants of Wyverns that were first introduced when the Crystal Isles map became available. Metal at bloodfalls hallow (mossy textures) on the cliffs. Oil "In the waters all around White Shoals, in the large jungle lake in Bloodfall's and on eldritch Isle." Most commonly found Pearls are the sandy pearls, so look closely for those. Penguins (organic polymer) at river mouth in snowbiome on the redwood side (Soulfringe added coords of 20/40). Sulfur can be found at emberfall (trees). I still find certain areas to be rather laggy, especially Bloodfall's Hallow and Fire Swamp.ĮDIT: Information from comments (thanks for the info guys!) Whilst I hope the wipes wont become a regular thing for the map updates, I really do like the changes the map has undergone. I feel it would be beneficial to have more metal modes, perhaps spread throughout the different areas of the map. Currently, I can only see the white shoals as a decent area for a base because of this. Notes: Personally, I feel that there could be a whole lot more metal nodes on the map.
